Editorial principles
Accuracy and sourcing
Where possible, we check reporting against official statements, documents and direct sources. Content compiled from other publications includes source links. Information not independently verified is attributed to its source.
Impartiality and clarity
Headlines reflect the report. Allegations, opinions and established facts are distinguished. An investigation or charge is not presented as a conviction. Unverified details are not invented.
Context and relevance
We provide detail, background and relevance where the story calls for them. We do not expand text simply to make it longer or present short summaries as comprehensive investigations.
Translation and editorial responsibility
Turkish, English and Danish versions should preserve meaning, figures, dates and uncertainty. Assistance from AI tools does not remove the publisher’s responsibility for the content.
Human dignity and independence
We respect the privacy of children and victims and avoid unnecessary details of violence. Advertising and sponsored content should be clearly labelled and distinguished from news. Health and financial reporting is not personalised advice.
