Beşiktaş have won only one of their last five competitive games after losing 3-2 at Celtic in the Europa League. During that run they beat Başakşehir, lost to Trabzonspor and Celtic, and drew with Crystal Palace and Kasımpaşa.

Lead slips away in Glasgow

Junior Olaitan put Beşiktaş ahead, before goals from Osmand and Duran turned the match around. Orkun Kökçü equalised, but Duran’s second secured the home win.

The 3-2 result, confirmed by the club’s match centre, was Beşiktaş’s first Europa League defeat of the season. They remain on seven points after four games. Vincenzo Italiano’s side next face Gençlerbirliği on November 8 before the international break.
