Interior Minister Mustafa Çiftçi discussed the funds investigation on tv100. He described remanded former minister Fatma Betül Sayan Kaya as one of the case’s prominent public figures.

Çiftçi said the aim was to recover unlawful gains from those responsible and compensate affected investors without spending from the public budget. He pointed to work by the Funds Coordination Board, State Supervisory Council and judicial authorities.

The minister cited 433 suspects, 112 remands and 186 judicial supervision measures, with arrest warrants for 38 fugitives. These are the figures he presented during the broadcast. Proceedings remain ongoing, and remand does not amount to a final conviction.
