A security officer died after being struck by a rotating aircraft propeller after disembarking at Dhusamareb Airport in Somalia on 3 November. Local reporting identified him as Mukhtar Qasim, part of police chief Maalin Mahdi’s security detail.

The delegation had travelled for Galmudug’s leadership inauguration. The report included no airline statement explaining the cause and no official finding assigning responsibility.
