Court decisions have been reported in the investigation into 42 municipal tenders from 2024–2026 and licensing procedures in Bakırköy. Prosecutors sought pre-trial detention for 21 municipal employees and 19 company representatives.

Son Dakika reported 40 remands. Bakırköy Gazetesi’s updated account instead reported 39 remands and house arrest for one suspect. The number referred for detention should therefore not automatically be treated as the number remanded.

Investigators are examining alleged tender irregularities and unlawful demands for money from businesses. The investigation continues; remand is not a conviction.
