AK Party deputy chairman Efkan Ala says work on improving pensions is continuing and details will be announced once it is finalized. Speaking on Habertürk TV, he gave no increase rate, eligibility scope or implementation date.

Answering Nasuhi Güngör’s questions, Ala acknowledged pensioners’ financial difficulties and described raising household incomes as a priority. He also said judicial and administrative inquiries into the fund investigation were continuing and that those responsible would face action regardless of their identity.
