A driver fleeing police in Malaysia stopped to attempt a toll payment during a chase on 31 October. Footage shows the vehicle moving off again and breaking through the barrier as an officer approached.

The 41-year-old was reportedly pursued for using a phone while driving and arrested in Cyberjaya after roughly 25 kilometres. Police were cited as saying a preliminary drug test was positive. Investigations continue.
