Cashier Raziye Şenocak helped a choking ten-year-old breathe again at a market in Pamukkale, Denizli, on 20 October. The following day, her home was rendered unusable by fire. Her intervention was captured on the shop’s security camera.

An electrical fault was considered a possible cause of the fire, which occurred while she was working. Neighbours and the market owner helped the family rent a home and obtain furniture.
