Petrol prices in Turkey are expected to fall by TRY3.35 per litre from 22 October, according to industry information reported by Son Dakika. The proposed reduction would follow a TRY4.30 cut on 20 October.

Istanbul price projected at TRY76.25

The report forecasts prices of TRY76.25 per litre in Istanbul, TRY77.25 in Ankara and TRY77.45 in Izmir after the adjustment. These are projected prices: the new cut has not yet taken effect as of 21 October. Prices can vary by distributor and station.

TRY167.50 less for 50 litres

If the full TRY3.35 reduction reaches the pump, buying the same 50 litres would cost TRY167.50 less. The combined TRY7.65 reduction would represent a saving of TRY382.50 on that quantity compared with the price before both cuts.

Diken also reported the same expectation for 22 October. Actual prices will depend on the tariffs stations apply after midnight.
