The decision follows the detention of Korkmaz Enes Ergun in a fund investigation.

Born in Ereğli, Konya, in 1970, Türeli graduated from Istanbul University’s law faculty in 1993. He worked as a judge before joining the Istanbul Stock Exchange in 2000, subsequently holding legal, member-services and compliance roles. His appointment is in an acting capacity.
