Son Dakika reports that an EPDK decision sets the annual household electricity support threshold at 3,000 kWh from 1 January 2027, equivalent to a monthly average of 250 kWh.

The report estimates 6.5 million subscriptions will be affected. Annual consumption, rather than a fixed bill amount, determines eligibility. EPDK’s current guidance puts the 2026 threshold at 4,000 kWh, with higher users moving to cost-based supply.
