Security camera footage of the suspect sought over the shootings in İhsaniye, Afyonkarahisar, has emerged. According to Son Dakika, investigators established identity details and circulated the person’s photograph to police and gendarmerie units.

Searches extend beyond the province

Reports said the suspect left in a red light commercial vehicle and was believed to have headed towards Kütahya. Searches and road checks were reported around Afyonkarahisar, Kütahya and Eskişehir. A verified name has not been publicly announced in the sources used here.

The investigation covers incidents around Ayazini, Kıyır and Yukarıtandır. The governor’s latest statement confirmed eight deaths and one person seriously injured, superseding lower preliminary figures.
